We’re about halfway into the month of January, and some of you may be struggling with your resolution to lose weight. On today’s “Motivation Monday,” our Success Coach, Tim Shurr, MA answers viewer questions about weight loss. A few of those questions were:

1. Everyone claims they have the “best” weight loss program. It’s confusing. So, what is the best way to lose weight?

2. How do I stay motivated to eat healthy and exercise? How do I keep focused when I get stressed or when I begin worrying about failing again?

  1. How do you lose weight when you have a hypo active thyroid and put the weight on when you had to take thyroid pills.

    1. Hi Kathy, the same way you’d achieve any other goal. You focus on the desired outcome and set 3 prioritized action steps each day that move you towards that outcome. There will ALWAYS be obstacles in our way. The mistake is to focus on the obstacle, which causes us to stop being proactive because we think, “What’s the point…”

Keep engaging and educating yourself in how to eat healthier foods when your blood sugar is low. I remember a client defiantly saying she “had to eat cookies because she was hypoglycemic!” This only caused more problems for her. Once she moved past her limiting beliefs, her blood sugars and thyroid become more regulated and she lost a bunch of weight.

Let me know how it goes and make sure to use the Body Transformation program to help you get through the tough times! tinyurl.com/mindweightloss

      Thanks!
      Tim
