You put yourself on the line everyday to serve others. To thank you, I’ve put together great training resources to serve YOU! Although everyone experiences a certain amount of stress, 1st responders including police, fire fighters, military, EMS, 911 Operators, and Coast Guard professionals, are often subjected to extremely stressful situations on a regular basis. This can result in FLC (Feeling Like Crap). Actually, it can take a serious toll on your health and happiness. Many of the current “interventions” involve medication, but pills don’t change the way we think. Nor does alcohol, emotional eating, or smoking, yet that’s what we go to if we don’t know what else to do!
Extremely powerful and effective tools exist for quickly shifting from overwhelm to calm, yet you won’t find these tools at your local VA. That’s why I put this program together. I grew up around guys like Ronnie and Bub, two guys who struggled with the after-effects of Vietnam. I’ve also lost friends who actually survived Iraq and Afghanistan, only to die from drinking-related accidents in Florida. I also went through my own version of PTSD when my dad got burned in a steel mill explosion.
Thus, I’ve spent the last 27 years learning how to “train your brain” so you can find peace, regardless of the traumatic experiences you’ve had. Remember this, it’s not what happens to you, but the meaning you give to it, that matters most! Together, we can alleviate the stress and give empowering messages to your brain, so you become stronger from your past, instead of becoming a victim of it.
In addition to helping you, I’ve also provided tools for helping your spouse through challenging times. Our loved ones have their own challenges, yet they also experience a lot of tough emotions from being married to a 1st responder. Thus, I strongly encourage you to watch the videos and go through the activities with your spouse, so you can talk about what you’ve learned afterwards with each other. It will improve communication and bring you closer together!
The first two videos come from a previously recorded breakout session I provided on November 2016 for the International Association of Fire Chief’s. The program was entitled, “Self-Care For 1st Responders & Their Spouses.” It addresses topics like stress reduction, dealing with negativity in the workplace, improving communication within your marriage, and personal development.
Also included is an audio program that provides 3 powerful strategies for lowering anxiety and stress. I’ll take you through 3 powerful strategies that I’ve successfully used in thousands of private coaching sessions to help clients reduce stress and rebuild confidence and a feeling of inner control.
In addition, when you click on the link and fill in the “Free Resources” box, I’ll send you a copy of one of my most popular digital audio programs entitled, “Stress Reliever.”
There are no sales pitches or catches here. I’ve been wanting to put this program together for many years and I plan on adding more free resources in the near future. There are many of us civilians who want you to know, WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK! If you’d like to learn about other topics, or have questions that arise from this program, please let me know.
Thanks so much and I hope your day is a Shurr ! Success.
